Homeroom/Announcements
-HOMEWORK: Practice your Student-Led Conference at least twice before your conference. Try taking a video or audio recording to critique yourself! Use your peers' comments and suggestions from Monday's class to improve your overall presentation. BRING ALL THE MATERIALS YOU PLAN TO SHARE WITH YOU TO YOUR CONFERENCE!

STUDENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The BCS-Bees will be having yet another sale during Spring Conferences! This time we will be selling our candles, pins, magnets, hair-clips, lip balm, clay figurines, and cookbooks! We will also be passing out informational materials and spreading the word about saving the bees. In order to make this activity a success, we need students to volunteer at the sale table in the main hallway. If you are interested in signing up, please have your parent email Ms. Leach with the time slot you would like to work. The available times are: Wednesday 5-8 and Thursday 1-4 AND 5-8. Just one hour of your time would be a huge help! Thanks for continuing to help "Save the Bees!"

Language Arts
Bring a "just right" silent reading book to class every day. Also bring your BOOK CLUB MATERIALS (novel, folder, Reader's Notebook).
1. Due today: Finish Book Club Reading Day 6, READING LOG
2. In class: ***March Madness Reading Challenge Team Selections today!*** Historical Fiction Book Clubs (READING DAY 7) - Group Discussions - Focus on Timeline and Secondary (minor) Characters. Continue reading your Book Club novel and record in your folder. (Check Book Club Wiki for chapters read).
3. Homework:
-Finish Reading Book Club Day 7 - due tomorrow
-Spelling #7 due 3-18-15
-March R&E due 3-30-15
-Every night: Read 30 minutes and complete READING LOG with parent signature - Logs due each Monday


Social Studies

2. In class: Student-Led Conferences Preparation and Practice. Ms. Leach will assign 2 peers for you to present your Conference Reflections and Activities to. Listen to the comments and suggestions they make afterwards. Ms. Leach will also be discussing overall presentation skills with the whole class.

-Finish Ch. 17 Processing (instructions on ISN 122) - due Monday, 3/16/15 - turn in TOMORROW if not already turned in
