2. In class: Historical Fiction Book Clubs (READING DAY 3) - Mini-Lesson using Read-Aloud of "Number the Stars" - Focus on Historical Events versus Story Events. Continue reading your Book Club novel and record key events on your timeline. (Check Book Club Wiki for chapters read).

2. In class: Continue Chapter 16 - Hinduism. Read about and discuss Prince Siddhartha's birth, life, and discovery of the three sufferings. Plan and perform a short Act-It-Out depicting the celebration of Siddhartha's birth through the viewpoints of various townspeople. Begin working on Chapter 16 Key Content Terms (on lined paper - glossary definition AND definition in your own words).
