Language Arts
Bring a "just right" silent reading book to class every day. Also bring your Reader's and Writer's Notebooks and an appropriate writing utensil to class every day.
1. Due today: None
2. In class: Continue our Literary Essay Unit - Evidence. Discuss what evidence really is and how we can find evidence from Wonder for our Literary Essays. Brainstorm and record at least three pieces of evidence for your theme. Share around the class to ensure everyone is happy with their pieces of evidence.
3. Homework:
-READ for 40 Book Challenge - 30 minutes every night
-Come to class Monday with your 3 pieces of evidence written in your Writer's Notebook.
-Spelling #5 due Wednesday, 1/21/15
-January R&E due 1/26/15
Social Studies
1. Due today: Completed Study Guide - Ms. Leach checked to see that you finished but did not collect.
2. In class: As a class, check the answers to the Chapter 11/12 Test Study Guide.
