Language Arts
1. Adjective Quizzes were returned.
2. Your debatable claim was turned in today for Ms. Leach to revise over the weekend. It will be returned to you on Monday with comments and suggestions.
3. In partner groups, you completed the "You Select the Evidence" page to determine which evidence type best fit with each example. Next, we practiced how to deem a source credible or not credible. Your HOMEWORK DUE Monday, 11/25/13 is to complete the "Website Credibility Activity" in the packet. You will visit each of the websites listed and determine if you believe they are CREDIBLE or NOT CREDIBLE. Make sure to also record your reasons why. The final page asks you to describe any questions you had about the activity so that we can clear up any confusion on Monday.
4. Spelling is due this coming Monday, 11/25/13. Remember, the word sort must be turned in with the signature page. Also, Spelling City will be checked for completion of other activities.
5. Nightly reading.
6. Bring a chapter book to class every day!
Social Studies
1. This chapter's winning group for the "Create Your Own Review" competition was Bridget and Zoe! We worked individually, then in partners to complete this review in class. We checked the answers as a whole group at the end of class. Reviews should be taken home with you to help you study. A PARENT SIGNATURE on the completed review is DUE this coming Monday, 11/25/13. The Chapter 4 Test will also be on Monday, 11/25/13.
