Language Arts
Bring a "just right" silent reading book to class every day. Also bring your BOOK CLUB MATERIALS (novel, folder, Reader's Notebook).
1. Due today: Book Club Day 8 Reading
2. In class: Historical Fiction Book Clubs (READING DAY 9) - Mini-Lesson: "Beef Up" our claims for Number the Stars by using concrete language and discussing the implications of these ideas for the future of the plot. Group Discussions - Work together to add concrete language to your claims (important ideas) about your Book Club novel. Continue reading your Book Club novel and record evidence in your folder. (Check Book Club Wiki for chapters read).
3. Homework:
-Finish Reading Book Club Day 9 - due tomorrow
-March R&E due 3-30-15
-Every night: Read 30 minutes and complete READING LOG with parent signature - Logs due each Monday
Social Studies

2. In class: No class today due to half day. 30 minutes Academic Lab to work on Study Guide or other missing work. STUDY GUIDE DUE TOMORROW.
