Homeroom/Announcements
IMPORTANT: We are having a Fitz/Brown Bees Bake Sale during conferences. We need student volunteers for making baked goods AND student volunteers who can work at the table selling the items.
If you would like to sign up for either option (or both!), please have a parent email Ms. Leach tonight (ASAP).

Language Arts
Bring a "just right" silent reading book to class every day. Also bring your Reader's and Writer's Notebooks and an appropriate writing utensil to class every day.
1. Due today: None
2. In class: Today we continued our class Read-Aloud of Wonder. We are using this novel as an example to practice building theories about characters in our own novels. We will also continue to hunt for Notice and Note Signposts along the way.
3. Homework:
-November R&Es due Monday, 11/24/14.
-Grammar Packet #2 (Nouns) due 11/19/14.

Social Studies
1. Due today: ISN 33-37
2. In class: We worked on the Processing Activity (ISN page 38) and began working on the Unit 1 Study Guide (Chapters 1, 3, 4, 5).
3. Homework:
-Ch. 5 Processing (ISN page 38) DUE tomorrow, 11/18/14
-UNIT 1 TEST (chapters 1, 3, 4, 5) will be on 11/24/14
-Current Events/News Report due 11/17-12/12 (check the Wiki for your date).
