Language Arts
1. Daily reading.
2. Bring a "just right" silent reading book to class every day.
3. Bring your Reader's and Writer's Notebooks and an appropriate writing utensil to class every day.
4. In class: Today we went to the Creative Station to type our Personal Narrative Rough Drafts. We will be peer revising, conferencing, and editing on Monday, so be sure to bring your TYPED draft on Monday.
5. Homework: TYPED and PRINTED Rough Draft due Monday.
Social Studies
1. Due today: None
2. In class: We wrapped up our cave activity from earlier this week and completed the Processing page of our ISNs together. (pg 10)
3. Homework: Please note, we will be taking the Chapter 1 Test on Monday AS A CLASS. Ms. Leach will be walking us through the test and answering the questions with us. It will be a good exercise in test-taking skills to prepare us for future tests. There will NOT be an individual test for this chapter. However, at the end of the Unit, we will be having a cumulative test on Chapters 1, 3, 4, 5.
