1. Tomorrow, October 22nd, BCS will be having our "Walk for Fitz" fundraiser. All proceeds from the event will go toward short- and long-term non-covered medical treatment and needs for Karen and her family/children.
The event will be held at BCS. Registration is from 5-6pm, and the event will be from 6-7:30pm with dinner included at 6:30pm. The registration fee also includes an event day t-shirt.
Registration is $25/person, $120/family.

Language Arts
1. Daily reading.
2. Bring a "just right" silent reading book to class every day.
3. Bring your Reader's and Writer's Notebooks and an appropriate writing utensil to class every day.
4. In class: Today, both classes continued to learn about Notice and Note Signposts.

Social Studies
1. Due today: None
2. In class: Today we continued Chapter 3. We finished our Comic Books, worked on Ch. 3 Processing, and watched a video about The Neolithic Age.
3. Homework: Ch. 3 Processing (bottom of ISN p. 22) due Wednesday, 10/22/14.
Ch. 3 TCI Reading Challenge Game (online) due Thursday, 10/23/14.
5. Please note: The Chapter 3 Test will be Thursday, 10/23/14. It will be open textbook and open ISN. Students will also be allowed to work with a partner of their choice. At the end of the Unit (right before Thanksgiving Break), we will be having a cumulative test on Chapters 1, 3, 4, 5.
