Language Arts
1. Daily reading.
2. Bring a "just right" silent reading book to class every day.
3. Bring your Reader's and Writer's Notebooks and an appropriate writing utensil to class every day.
4. In class: Today we worked on creating new Strong Leads for our Personal Narrative Rough Drafts. We had an opportunity to practice, peer conference, and share out. We will be exploring effective conclusions tomorrow, and we will begin typing the Rough Drafts on Friday.
5. No other homework.
Social Studies
1. Due today: Key Content Terms handout
2. In class: We had an opportunity to venture in to the "caves" of ancient civilizations. We acted as social scientists to analyze the cave art and artifacts that were left behind. (ISN p. 7-9)
3. Homework: Finish ISN p. 7-9 due Friday
