Language Arts
Bring a "just right" silent reading book to class every day. Also bring your Reader's and Writer's Notebooks and an appropriate writing utensil to class every day.
1. Due today: 6th grade R&Es for October and any missing/late work.
2. In class: Today we continued our class Read-Aloud of Wonder. We will be using this novel as an example to practice building theories about characters in our own novels. We will also continue to hunt for Notice and Note Signposts along the way.
3. Homework:
-Grammar Packet #1 Due Wednesday, 11/5/14
-November R&Es due Monday, 11/24/14
Social Studies
1. Due today: ISN 24-25
2. In class: We continued Chapter 4. We completed the Reading Notes for section 4.5 and 4.6 (ISN 26-27)
3. Homework:
-Finish ISN pages 26-27 if you didn't finish in class - due Monday, 11/3/14
4. Please note: The Chapter 4 Test is tentatively scheduled for 11/11/14. At the end of the Unit (right before Thanksgiving Break), we will be having a cumulative "Unit Test" on Chapters 1, 3, 4, 5.
