Language Arts
1. Daily reading.
2. Bring a "just right" silent reading book to class every day.
3. Bring your Reader's and Writer's Notebooks and an appropriate writing utensil to class every day.
4. Today we worked on creating story mountains to help plan, organize, and pace our personal narratives.
5. Complete your Story Mountain - due MONDAY, 9/29/14


Social Studies
1. We continued our efforts on the map Home to School Map and discussed scale and scale bars.
2. Home to School Map - due MONDAY, 9/29/14 - use the checklist as a rubric!
3. Graded Geoterms were passed back today. There will be a quiz on these next Friday. Use your packet as a study guide. 4. Please send in $2 for the bandanas you received at camp. Mrs. Jacobs has two bandanas that were found in various locations at camp. Please see her if you think one might be yours!
5. Mrs. Jacobs has posted about 250 photos from 5/6 Camp! The link to the DropBox is on yesterday's post. If you have photos to share, send an email so you can be added to the contributors. A link to share the DropBox will be sent to you, directly. Please rename your photos so you don't accidentally overwrite someone else's photos. A suggestion is to use your last name and then number the photos (i.e., Jacobs01.jpg, Jacobs02.jpg, etc.).
